New Windows 11 Microsoft : Upgrade Features

 New Windows 11 Microsoft : Upgrade Features

* Introduction of Windows 11

The experince of new window, bringing you closer to the people and which things you like most it reach their.

The Developer of Windows 11 is Microsoft and window 11 written in C, C++, C#, assembly language. The OS family is Microsoft Window.

Windows has always  a stage for the world’s innovation. It’s been the backbone of global businesses and where scrappy startups became household names. The web also was born and grew up on Windows. It’s the place where many of us wrote our first email, played our first PC game and wrote our first line of code. Windows is the place people go to create, to connect, to learn and to achieve – a platform over a billion people today rely on.

Windows 11 is the next big operating system for PCs, laptops, and convertibles at Microsoft’s event. The next-generation Windows brings the Start menu to the centre of the taskbar, and this is just a part of the visual changes that Microsoft has introduced. Windows 11 comes around six years after Windows 10 was announced, and that is why the upgrades are significant.

That was a time when the PC was playing a more central role in our lives, Windows 11 is designed to bring you closer to what you love.

Let's learn something different features of YOGA

* The Source Model of window 11

The Source Model of window 11 is : Proprietary software, also known as non-free Software or closed-source software, is computer software for which the software's publisher or another person reserves some rights from licensees to use, modify, share modifications, or share the software.It sometimes includes Patent rights.

Examples of proprietary software include:  Microsoft Window, Adobe flash player, PS3 OS, iTunes, Adobe Photoshop, Google Earth, mac OS (formerly Mac OS X and OS X), Skype, WinRAR, Oracle's version of Java and some versions of Unix.

How a Microsoft blunder opened millions of PCs to potent malware attacks know more.

* Source-available software  is software that released through a source code distribution model that includes arrangements where the source can be viewed, and in some cases modified, but without necessarily meeting the criteria to be called open source. The license offerings range from allowing code to be viewed for reference to allowing code to be modified and redistributed for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.

The Shared Source Initiative is a source-available software licensing scheme launched by Microsoft in May 2001.The program includes a spectrum of technologies and licenses, and most of its source code offerings are available for download after eligibility criteria are met.

* The design to the new Windows 11

The design to the new Windows 11 is very much similar to mac OS, but that is where the similarities end. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Windows 11 is an open platform where everyone is allowed to do whatever they want with their apps. Nadella is talking about third-party payments solutions that will bolster developer’s businesses on Windows 11. And the biggest attraction for them is no commission on purchases done through their payments solution, something that Apple is categorically against and believes makes the platform prone to malware.Word champians are nothing in front of AI drones.

I agree. This eye candy is totally useless and undesirable to me. I miss Windows 7 which was very stable and more customizable (I could set the color of EVERYTHING to make it easier on my eyes). Windows 10/11 are very limited. There's nothing I saw in this video usable to me. I prefer left justified start button and task bar. I am a desktop business user. The rounded corners and animation don't impress me. I prefer NO animation for faster response. I like Aero in Windows 7 better than the so called "modern" nonsense Windows 8 and above gave us. I use Classic Start Menu for a more sensible and usable start menu layout (which gives a Windows 7 start menu). Windows 11 still hasn't caught up with Windows 7 LOL. If I wanted a macOS look-alike, I would get an apple! The one thing I wouldn't mind is a Unix shell command line instead of the DOS command prompt, but I don't want the mac windows UI.

* Is Windows 11 Free ?

 The Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will be available to download during the holiday season this year. The holiday season means sometime in November. The rollout will continue into 2022, so there is going to be enough time for people to upgrade the platform. In India, the Windows 11 rollout schedule is going to be the same.

Windows 11 will be available as a free of cost  to Windows 10 customers. This means that if you run a genuine Windows 10 copy on your computer, you will be able to download Windows 11 without having to pay anything extra. For fresh installations, Windows 11 may cost you.

* Has Windows 11 been launched  ?

Microsoft is going to launch very soon Windows 11 for personal computer users. The company will launch it at an event on June 24. Windows 10 was launched in 2015  five years ago and since then it is running. Now the company is ready to launch the new Windows 11. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Chief Product Officer Panos Panay both will be present at the event. The company is also sending media invites for this event. The event will be held on June 24 from 8.30 pm. However, there is no official announcement from Microsoft.

With this version Windows 12 will get more than one battery charge. Microsoft does not give a date for the release of this update, but its name leaves no room for doubt. It will arrive next month and will be installed as a normal update. The simplicity will be such that you do not even need to restart Windows 12. Windows 12 has arrived! Surrounded by expectations, the new version of Microsoft’s operating system is already in full swing. Part of a new company strategy, Windows 12 is being offered for free to anyone using Windows 7 or Windows 10, even if you have a pirated copy of the OS.

As the Windows 11 launched you also have to improve yourself.

* Will Windows 12 be a free update?

Microsoft highlights the  designe  to improve the overall performance of Windows 12. Another area for optimizations was power. With this version Windows 12 will get more than one battery charge. Microsoft never released a date of this update, but its name leaves no room for doubt.

 These keys just come from other countries where Windows has cheaper Licence. These are referred to as “gray market” keys. They may be legitimate, but they were sold for cheaper in other countries. For example, Windows keys were once much cheaper in China.

 * Reason for Windows 10 keys so cheap?

you may just be purchasing a completely fake key on sketch websites or an already-known key that was used to pirate Windows on multiple systems that has been blocked by Microsoft. An especially bad website might even steal the credit card number you use to buy the key and use it to start the credit card fraud game anew.

 * OEM Licence

 The cheap versions you'll see on eBay and other links will be something called an OEM version. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer and is a term applied to companies that build PCs. Those desktops and laptops usually include a copy of Windows, so that when you walk out of Currys/PC World with that shiny new Dell you can take it home and use it immediately.

The majority of OEM versions end up preinstalled on PCs, it’s also possible to buy them as licence keys from places like eBay, Lizengo. This is a easy practice for users who wants to build their own gaming PCs, or buy a second-hand device that has either no OS, or one that is out of date.

* Windows 11 Requirements

Your PC  where you run Windows 11, you will need a processor that has two or more cores and a clock speed of 1GHz or higher. You will also need to have RAM of 4GB or more, and at least 64GB storage. Your PC will also need a TPM security version of TPM 1.2 or higher and SecureBootCapable support.

 For Windows 11 you will also require a setup to have a 9-inch display output with a 720p resolution and your system must have support for DirectX 12 graphics or WDDM2.x. A report by XDA Developers also suggests that your laptop will need to have a precision touchpad to be eligible for the Windows 11 update.

Windows 11 includes a  bunch of new features  that differentiates it over Windows 10. Windows 11 features a brand new user interface (UI) design, built from the ground up with simplicity and ease of use in mind. Microsoft has tried to simplify the UI in as many areas as possible, creating a clean, fluid space for work and play.

Microsoft says the new UI will help you stay productive or in your creative flow, as the OS does its best to remain out of the way. The company is adding new features that help keep you in your flow, such as new functionality like the new "Snap Navigator" menu that drops down from an app window's maximize button. This lets you snap an app to a predetermined set of grid layouts without needing to drag your window to the edge of your display.

 A new chat app

A new chat app built right into the Taskbar, which helps you share files, text, and video with friends, family, or colleagues via Microsoft Teams for consumers. Microsoft is integrating Teams into Windows 11 in other ways, such as with the ability to share an app window into a Teams call directly from the Taskbar, as well as mute your mic from the System Tray area.

New Start Menu

Microsoft has built a new Start menu and Taskbar experience, now centered by default. Gone are live tiles, and in their place is a grid of app icons that can be rearranged. Pinned and running apps in the Taskbar are now also centered, and there are many new subtle animations when clicking and moving things around.

Widget Panel

Microsoft is also presenting a new "Widgets" panel that houses features such as To Do, Calendar, Photos, and news from MSN.

 The Microsoft has increased the size of hitboxes around app windows so that it could easier to resize them when using touch. There's also a bunch of new subtle animations involved when manipulating windows in an effort to make the touch experience feel more fluid and native to the OS.

New App Store

Windows 11 announcements as part of  is that Microsoft is building a brand new app store. This new Microsoft Store app features a new fluid UI that matches the rest of Windows 11, but that's not the big news. Microsoft is changing up some of the policies that govern what kind of apps are allowed into the storefront.

Microsoft  adding its own apps, such as Teams, Office, and Visual Studio to the new Microsoft Store to show the world that it's serious about this new Store effort, and that it hopes other app developers like Mozilla and Adobe follow suit.

Windows 11 also includes new snap controls that you can access from the maximize button on all apps. They’re modern equivalents of the cascade windows function that has existed in the operating system for years. You can quickly snap windows side by side, or arrange them in sections on your desktop.

Windows 11  will be offered as a free upgrade for Windows 10 users. Microsoft says there's no time limit on this, meaning you won't have to upgrade to Windows 11 right away if you don't want to.

OEMs will still have to pay for a Windows 11 license. The license itself isn't free, but if you upgrade from Windows 10, you get to retain your license and therefore remain activated. This is exactly how it worked with the move from Windows 7 and Windows 8 to Windows 10. We also expect Windows 11 to be available for standalone purchase to consumers, like Windows 10.

yes i agree , all these necessary features and many many more

I hope they will focus on providing consistency, stability and useful features, tools and utilities in the future.

Right now i am only waiting for the EVENT

I don't understand.. just because it's 2021 we must be super impressed with eye-candy over actual functionality? I get it, a lot of people like the visual "upgrades" made to win 10 since it's launch, but there are also a lot of people who go into settings and turn that stuff off because if serves no actual purpose and we don't like it. One of the first things I do on every personal and work computer I use is to turn off all the animations, transparency, expanding scroll bars, and all the other junk that I don't want. I don't see not wanting something that is of no use to us as being stuck in 1997, as long as we have the option to use it or not why do you care?

3. GraniteStateColin

Don, there is good behavioral science behind design and user efficiency. Yes, animations may add a fraction of a second to a process, but they can also make many, many, operations far more intuitive. If a file opening animates from its source where the user just clicked or touched to its destination where it opened, especially on a large screen with many open windows, for example, the user knows exactly where to go next, rather than spending a few seconds to figure it out. That's just one example among hundreds for how well planned animations can save time overall and improve efficiency.

On the other hand, it's hard to imagine there is any business or efficiency value in your being able to change the colors of every part of the OS. In fact, by doing that, you likely decrease efficiency, because good design uses color matches and consistency or differences to communicate information at a glance. When you customize, you risk breaking that. Not saying you shouldn't customize, just pointing out that is inconsistent with your other comments about what matters to you in an OS.

4. SiliciusEscipion

Although in essence each new OS is an update of the previous one. Windows 11 is simply a new Windows and not an updated Windows 10. No one has named Windows 7 a Windows Vista Feature Update, for example. It's time to say goodbye to Windows 10. Windows 10 is the old thing, Windows 11 is the new generation.

5. CocoPizza_2000

i don't think it sounds rational while tides are bent towards

"Windows 11" way more , Either its "Windows 11 Sun Valley" or just "Windows 11"

Who knows , maybe its just a Major Update for "Windows 10" simply called

21H2 or "Sun Valley Update" with some Visual changes and nothing more XD

6. hyperlexis

I have come to learn, after all these years, when MS says something, generally, don't believe them. Windows 10 is the last Windows ever. Lie. Not a major lie to lose sleep over, but a lie. We will continue on with Windows Mobile, Phone, er, Mobile.... Lie. Zune and Groove, and Win RT. OneDrive 15 gb free storage space will be yours, until it becomes 5 gb when we change our minds. Lies and more lies. For the consumer, the whipsaw of this company's statements has been exasperating. Glad Win11 is coming out. But I have little confidence it will work properly, and I would bet money it wont work on older hardware.

7. David Gayler

They may have said Windows 10 would be the last. But being ready to serve their customers they must be allowed to notice a massive shift in usage as a result of Covid (in the UK, anyway) with a huge increase in working from home. Improved security in the domestic environment together with the need to switch quickly from a home to work profiles have become much more important. If Microsoft want to call their move to meet these demands "Sash Window 15" I really don't care much. It's performance that counts.

8. JoshNay

Personally, I think Microsoft is going all in on Windows 11 this year, but will eventually ship Windows 10X (albeit with a new name) sometime in the future. It makes sense, given its ability to now "look like Windows" thanks to Windows 11 while also enjoying a much needed modern core. Yeah probably not anytime soon, but I'd be surprised if we didn't see Windows 10X again in some form in the future.

9. someoneinwa

I noticed that too! Very excited to see the pen charging feature come to Surface Pro keyboards! And haptics! If the device he was using was the Pro 8, it did not appear to have any other physical differences.

The Verge are reporting that the Home version of Windows 10 requires a Microsoft account, so local login is completely off the table.

I'd actually be prepared to pay for Pro, but if I do that and get monetised with Bing and forced to use Edge for certain things, I won't be happy at all. Ball in your court Microsoft!

Have to say though, apart from that, the presentation was great and Windows 11 looks excellent. Much better product direction under Panos. Panos even wears unlaced Jordan 1 Highs, what a guy.

Never. I could stop there, but I have some explaining to do, and I am going to (try to) keep it as short as I can.

I should point out that Naresh Chunchukala’s answer is essentially what I would have written had Naresh not written it first.

Of late, Microsoft (or as I prefer to call them, a la Dr. Who, The DOS-Lords Of Redmond, or TDLOR) has been going hot and heavy on Linux, both in a way that end-users and IT specialists (sysadmins, programmers, developers, system engineers, software engineers, database managers, etc.) will notice.

They have, in the Anniversary Update, with the help of Canonical (the makers of Ubuntu Linux), brought in BASH, so that one can run Linux apps (command line-based only, I’m afraid) within Windows, and from the Command Line Interface (Linux’s BASH, not Windows’ vDOS or PowerShell).

TDLOR is also into Linux in a big way. No, they aren’t going full-on open-source. And while it’s true that they have released the source code for a number of their applications, the applications for which they have done so are not heavyweight, big money makers. I think they did so as a sort of sign of good faith to the Linux/FOSS community at large, to show they’ve gotten over their Steve Ballmer-induced rabid hatred of all things Linux (Ballmer: “Linux is a cancer”).

Why? Because outside of the retail and commercial/business/govt end-user market, where Microsoft dominates, it’s actually Linux that dominates almost everywhere else. If they want to sell software, they have to make sure it “plays nice” with Linux software and the Linux kernel specifically.

And you may well know that several years ago, (the late) Steve Jobs pioneered a radically different OS for the Macintosh computer. It’s a mixture of the Mach Microkernel (Mach (kernel) - Wikipedia) and a — very — modified version of FreeBSD (FreeBSD - Wikipedia). Onto the front of all that is affixed their signature user interface.

Well, it’s my (possibly crazy) opinion that TDLOR/Microsoft is going to do something analogous with Windows: They are going to build their famous User Interface around a Linux kernel and kernelspace, and make the userspace a hybrid between Linux and Windows. They can’t use GNU (The GNU Operating System and the Free Software Movement), because then they’d have to release their source code, and they don’t want to do that. They can use the Linux source code under the LGPL (GNU Lesser General Public License - Wikipedia), similar to what Google is doing with its Android operating system. It too has Linux as its kernel.

And nothing I’ve written here contradicts what Naresh Chunchukala wrote. Offering Windows as a Service makes great sense for Microsoft. Whatever the next “iteration” of some Windows-like OS is, I have little doubt it will contain elements of its own GUI, of Linux kernel code, and cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service).

So that’s my delusion … um, er, sorry … opinion, and I’m stickin’ to it.

Windows 11 provides a calm and creative space where you can pursue your passions through a fresh experience. From a rejuvenated Start menu to new ways to connect to your favourite people, news, games, and content—Windows 11 is the place to think, express, and create in a natural way.

Thankyou to read.
